About: I am an Associate Policy Researcher at RAND Corporation. I study the economics of education, using quasi-experimental and experimental methods to explore how inequality manifests and persists through the education system. I have recently researched school choice policies, including analyzing the impacts of school choice on neighborhoods, stratification across school sectors, and education finance. Some of my other research interests include economic mobility, housing, and place-based policies. Before pursuing my Ph.D., I helped launch an edtech company that expanded access to computer science education in over 200 high schools. I have a master’s degree in economics and education from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in public policy from Stanford University.
